Lefkada

Yacht Charters to Lefkada

A total of 24 islets encircle the island of Lefkada, one of which is Aristotle Onassis' Skorpios. A floating swing bridge joins it to the opposite shore of central Greece (length: 50 m). Visitors from all around Greece may now easily reach the island of Lefkada through the bridge. Lefkada has a rich cultural history and welcoming residents. The island is home to important religious sites including churches and monasteries as well as attractive villages and lush flora.

Lefkada is the main settlement and port of the island. The town’s layout is extremely specific, and it’s been likened to a “fish backbone.” This town’s unique identity stems from its many quaint streets, charming plazas, historic homes, ornate bell towers, and pedestrian-friendly pavement. A canal and lagoon enclose the city, and to the north is Gyra, a circular strip of sandy beach dotted with windmills and sparse vegetation.

Lefkada town is convenient to several great swimming spots, including Kastro, Gyra, Myloi, and Agios Ioannis Antzousis. Incredible beaches can be found virtually anywhere, and to the east of the main island, you’ll find a string of similarly stunning, forested islands.
Exploring the underwater caverns. The islands of Kalamos and Kastos are conveniently close and provide stunning beaches and underwater caverns.
Cycling; both the city of Lefkada and the surrounding beach are beautiful places to ride a bike. Take the spectacular beautiful path that round the lagoon, passing via Agia Mavra, Gyra, Myloi, Ai Giannis, and Lefkada.
The marina is the best-equipped marina in all of Greece, and it can be found on the eastern side of town.
